Moraility vs Effectiveness

Though the video ‘Wether underground’ and the reading ‘Earth first’, I just wonder, what is more important, morality or effectiveness?
Violence casues immorality because of unjust sacrifice, but it is the most effective way. Vote for one side, i’m really curious
